  • “Hannah is an amazingly talented music therapist who creates diverse, individualized, and research-driven treatment plans with each of her patients. She integrates hands on practices with musical {stylings} to assist patients with gait abnormalities, coordination impairments, respiratory dysfunction, and cognitive deficiencies in order to make meaningful improvements in an individual’s functional progress. She is truly gifted, creative, empathetic, and exudes immense passion for her craft. I had the pleasure of working with her, and truly would not have seen some of the physical outcomes for my patients without having her expertise.”

    -Sarah Ellis, PT, DPT

  • “Working with Hannah in the recovery of my husband’s traumatic brain injury had more impact than is easy to concisely put into words! Even before he was able to regain his speech, Hannah would come to the hospital room with her beautiful voice and guitar, and Ryan was able to sing along. She learned our wedding song and played it for us as we wept happy tears. She also took the time to learn songs from Ryan’s favorite genres of music to make it easy for recall. It truly was one of the highlights of our time in recovery. We never knew how valuable music therapy is on a healing brain… and soul (but are so glad we found out)!”

  • "Hannah is spectacular - on all dimensions. We didn't know music therapy was a thing - and it has become one of the great joys for our mom. It's motivating, it's stimulating, and it's fun. And Hannah is professional, friendly, attentive, and a huge driver of Mom's progress. We can't recommend her enough."

  • “I’ve worked side-by-side with Hannah for the past 2 years seeing patients with respiratory disease. Her music therapy program is truly a “whole health” intervention that not only improves breathing and airway clearance but aids the patient in managing the anxiety that commonly accompanies pulmonary disease. The feedback from patients is overwhelmingly positive with comments frequently touching on how fun the program is and how enthusiastic Hannah is in promoting their involvement. I cannot speak highly enough of music therapy and Hannah as a clinician. I’m excited to see her making this program accessible to the broader population.”

    -R. Chad Wade, MD

    Pulmonologist

  • “Patient directed music therapy is a multifaceted treatment option for a variety of diagnosis that is effective for all ages. I am extremely supportive of using a music therapist as an adjunct to traditional therapy. I have collaborated with Hannah in the clinic and am amazed at how she uses evidence based approaches to engage the brain to improve our clients physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well being. She was the leading force in the development of our successful pulmonary program and the creative genius in our neurological programs. The impact of music therapy is unprecedented. As a therapist and a mother of an autistic child, I support music therapy services”

-Van Huynh, OTR/L, RRT, C/NDT, CSRS

  • “For several years, Hannah has led music therapy groups at our camp for adults with disabilities. She leads the group with love and humor, while at the same time helping our campers dig deep and access emotions and feelings that can be difficult. I've seen such an incredible difference in the demeanor of our campers before and after taking her class. They are more at home inside of themselves and amongst each each other after navigating through the music therapy process. Hannah is truly a master at what she does and a gift to all who have the good fortune to work with her.”

Missioner for Youth, Campus, and Young Adult Ministries at the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama

  • It all started after attending a meeting, led by Hannah, regarding Neurologic Music Therapy. I knew immediately that my daughter would benefit from this type of therapy, especially with her love of music. I brought the idea home to my husband, and he agreed. Session after session, the progress was inevitable. Even on days when her neuro irritability bothered her, progress was made. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Hannah is or all that she does. To some, it may just be music. To us, it is the gift of life, love, hope, progress, and independence.”
